Our Data Privacy Policy is an important document in that it outlines our policy towards the capture and storage of Client's personal data and what actions can occur with it.

  • 1. INTRODUCTION

    We at ServiceQUIK Pte Ltd, Singapore and ServiceQUIK Inc, USA (“ ServiceQUIK”, "ZING", “we ”, “our”, “us”, "the company") very much respect your privacy, are committed to protecting it, and want you to be informed about the ways we protect, use and share the information that we collect.


    This Data Privacy Policy outlines practices with respect to information collected from users who access our websites at ServiceQUIK and our brand ZING (" Site "), or otherwise share personal information with us (collectively: "Users") and when you use any part of our service available through the Site or other related websites, applications or distribution channels we may operate from (the “Service”). This Policy applies to information that you provide to us through the Site or the Service, when you access or use any content appearing on the Site or made available through the Service, or that we collect on your behalf as part of the Service.


    This Policy is an integral part of our Terms of Service (General) and Terms of Service (eMail).

  • 2. GROUNDS FOR DATA PROTECTION

    Processing of your personal information (meaning, any information which may potentially allow your identification with reasonable means; hereinafter "Personal Information") is necessary for the performance of our contractual obligations towards you and providing you with our services, to protect our legitimate interests and for compliance with legal and financial regulatory obligations to which we are subject. More information can be found in the "How We Use Your Information" section of this Policy.


    When you use the Site or our Service, you consent to the collection, storage, use, disclosure, and other uses of your Personal Information as described in this Data Privacy Policy.


    We encourage our Users to carefully read this Data Privacy Policy and use it to make informed decisions. 

  • 3. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

    We collect two types of data and information from Users. 


    Non-personal information

    The first type of information is un-identified and non-identifiable information pertaining to a User(s), which may be made available or gathered via your use of the Site or Service (“Non-Personal Information”). We are not aware of the identity of a User from which the Non-personal Information was collected. Non-personal Information that is being collected may include your aggregated usage information and technical information transmitted by your device, including certain software and hardware information (e.g. the type of browser and operating system your device uses, language preference, access time, etc.) in order to enhance the functionality of our Site. We may also collect information on your activity on the Site (e.g. pages viewed, online browsing, clicks, actions, etc.).


    Personal information

    The second type of information ("Personal Information") is individually identifiable information, namely information that identifies an individual or may with reasonable effort to identify an individual. Such information includes:

    • Identifiers - Registration information for the purpose of providing our Service and for communicating with you, such information includes your name, your mailing address, your email address, your phone number, your company’s name and details, country of residency, and your website URL.
    • Identifiers also include any voluntary information you provide us when you communicate with us (for example when you send us an email or use a “contact us” form on our Site) we collect the Personal Information you provided us with.
    • Commercial information – If you make or enable a transaction such as a purchase directly from our Site, we will collect billing and financial information as necessary to process your charges, such as credit card number, postal and email address.
    • Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information – we collect certain technical information that is automatically recorded when you use our services, such as your IP address, MAC address, device approximate location, in order to operate our Site properly.
    • Audio Information - We record or monitor telephone calls for customer support, training, and/or security purposes.
  • 4. HOW DO WE RECEIVE INFORMATION ABOUT YOU?

    We receive your Personal Information from various sources:

    • When you voluntarily provide us your personal details in order to register on our Site or for our Service;
    • When you use or access our Site or Service in connection with your use of our services;
    • From third party providers, services, and public registers (for example, traffic analytics vendors).

    As an EU resident, You may request to:

    • Receive confirmation as to whether or not Personal Information concerning you is being processed, and access your stored Personal Information, together with supplementary information.
    • Receive a copy of Personal Information you directly volunteer to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
    • Request rectification of your Personal Information that is in our control.
    • Request erasure of your Personal Information.
    • Object to the processing of Personal Information by us.
    • Request to restrict processing of your Personal Information by us.
    • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

    California Consumers Rights 

    If you reside in California, you are granted the following rights with regard to your Personal Information:

    • Receive disclosure regarding what Personal Information concerning you is being processed, sold, and other details pertaining to it (such as its categories, sources, recipients, purpose, and specific pieces of Personal Information), in the 12 months prior to the request.

    You may also receive a copy of your Personal Information obtained by us in the 12 months prior to your request, in a readily usable format.

    • Request erasure of Personal Information collected by Us from you.
    • Right to not be discriminated against because of the exercise of your rights under the CCPA.
    • Right to opt-out of the Sale of Personal Information by Us – as mentioned above, we do not sell your Personal Information.

    However, please note that these rights are not absolute, and may be subject to our own legitimate interests and regulatory requirements.


    Users Outside the EU and California 

    Some of the aforementioned rights are applicable in certain jurisdictions outside the EU and California as well including Singapore through its PDPA regulations. Users residing outside the EU and California are welcome to contact us for any questions or requests at the details below.

    Upon receiving your request, and according to legal obligations to which we are subject, we will first need to authenticate your request. In order to expedite our handling of your request, we recommend providing us with the following authentication information: 

    - Full name and the email address used with your ZING account.


    Should this information not be included in your request we will respond with an authentication request, after which your request will be processed within the legal timeframe.

  • 6. RETENTION

    We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Retention periods will be determined taking into account the type of information that is collected and the purpose for which it is collected, bearing in mind the requirements applicable to the situation and the need to destroy outdated, unused information at the earliest reasonable time. Under applicable regulations, we will keep records containing client personal data, account opening documents, communications, and anything else as required by applicable laws and regulations. 


    We may rectify, replenish, or remove incomplete or inaccurate information, at any time and at our own discretion.


    Site account data is deleted 30 days after the closure of an account.

    We and our trusted partners use cookies and other technologies in our related services, including when you visit our Site or access our services. 


    A "cookie" is a small piece of information that a website assigns to your device while you are viewing a website. Cookies are very helpful and can be used for various different purposes.     Cookies do not contain any information that personally identifies you, but Personal Information that we store about you may be linked, by us, to the information stored in and obtained from cookies. You may remove the cookies by following the instructions of your device preferences; however, if you choose to disable cookies, some features of our Site may not operate properly and your online experience may be limited.


    We also use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about your use of the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users access the Site, what pages they visit when they do so, etc. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve our Site and services. Google Analytics collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit sites, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.

    Provision of service:

    we will use your Personal Information to communicate with you and to keep you informed of our latest updates to our Services and offer you service offers.


    Marketing purposes :

    we will use your Personal Information (such as your email address, text (SMS) or phone number) for marketing purposes. For example, by subscribing to our newsletter you will receive tips and announcements straight to your email account. We may also send you promotional material concerning our services or our partners' services (which we believe may interest you), including but not limited to, by building an automated profile based on your Personal Information, for marketing purposes. You may choose not to receive our promotional or marketing emails (all or any part thereof) by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in the emails that you receive from us. Please note that even if you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we may continue to send you service-related updates and notifications, or reply to your queries and feedback you provide us.


    Opt-out of receiving marketing materials:

    If you do not want us to use or share your Personal Information for marketing purposes, you may opt-out in accordance with this Policy, or if by using the "Unsubscribe" link appearing on any marketing material you received. Please note that even if you opt-out, we may still use and share your Personal Information with third parties for non-marketing purposes (for example to fulfill your requests, communicate with you and respond to your inquiries, etc.). In such cases, the companies with whom we share your Personal Information are authorized to use your Personal Information only as necessary to provide these non-marketing Services.


    Analytics, surveys, and research: 

    from time to time, we may conduct surveys or test features, and analyze the information we have to develop, evaluate and improve these features, all in order to improve our Service and think of new and exciting features for our users.


    Protecting our interests: 

    we use your Personal Information when we believe it’s necessary in order to take precautions against liabilities, investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, investigate and protect ourselves from fraud, protect the security or integrity of our services and protect the rights and property of the company, its users and/or partners.


    Enforcing policies: 

    we use your Personal Information in order to enforce our policies as documented in our Terms of Service or Master License and Service Agreement.

    Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements:

    we also use your Personal Information as required by law, regulation, or other governmental authority, or to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process.


    We do not sell any of your information.

  • 9. THIRD PARTY COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

    Our policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. To the extent you disclose your information to other parties or sites throughout the internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them. Accordingly, we encourage you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of each third party that you choose to disclose information. 


    This Data Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals whom we do not employ or manage, including any of the third parties which we may disclose information as set forth in this Data Privacy Policy. 

  • 10. HOW DO WE SAFEGUARD YOUR INFORMATION?

    We have implemented administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of your Personal Information. Your information is stored on secure servers and isn’t publicly available. We limit access to your information only to those employees or partners that need to know the information in order to enable the carrying out of the agreement between us.


    However, you should be aware that there is always some risk involved in transmitting information over the internet. While we strive to protect your Personal Information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security and privacy of your Personal Information or other content you transmit using the Site or Service, and you do so at your own risk. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to overcome those measures or use your Personal Information for improper purposes, and we do not promise that your Personal Information or private communications will be protected from unauthorized disclosure or use.


    You need to help us prevent unauthorized access to your account by protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your account (for example, by signing off after you have finished accessing your account). You will be solely responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all use of your password and your account, including any unauthorized use. Please do not provide any privileged information on the site or when using the service.   • 11. TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE OF THE EEA

    Please note that EU data subjects should be aware that some data recipients may be located outside the EEA. In such cases, according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) (“GDPR”), we will transfer your data only to such countries as approved by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection or enter into legal agreements ensuring an adequate level of data protection.

  • 12. MARKETING

    We may use your Personal Information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, etc. ourselves or by using our third-party subcontractors for the purpose of providing you with promotional materials, concerning our services, which we believe may interest you. 


    Out of respect to your right to privacy, we provide you with such marketing materials with the means to decline to receive further marketing offers from us. If you unsubscribe we will remove your email address or telephone number from our marketing distribution lists. 


    Please note that even if you have unsubscribed from receiving marketing emails from us, we may send you other types of important e-mail communications without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them. These may include customer service announcements or administrative notices.

  • 13. CORPORATE TRANSACTION

    We may share information in the event of a corporate transaction (e.g. sale of a substantial part of our business, merger, consolidation, or asset sale). In the event of the above, the transferee or acquiring company will assume the rights and obligations as described in this Data Privacy Policy.

  • 14. MINORS

    We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. The Site and Service is not designed for or directed at children. Under no circumstances shall we allow the use of our services by minors without prior consent or authorization by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact Data Privacy Officer at dpo@servicequik.com.

  • 15. UPDATES & AMENDMENTS TO THIS DATA PRIVACY POLICY

    We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise the Data Privacy Policy; material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Data Privacy policy. The last revision will be reflected in the "Last modified" section. Your continued use of the Platform, following the notification of such amendments on our website, constitutes your acknowledgment and consent of such amendments to the Data Privacy Policy and your agreement to be bound by the terms of such amendments.
